This year was a blast for us here in Project Wangun.. and I thought of doing a year end review of Project Wangun.. so lets sit back and recall what we accomplished this year

In less than 5 hours its officially Christmas here in the Philippines, so everyone have a fun-filled Christmas to everyone.

Cosplay Mania 11

This event is one of the biggest cosplay event held here on the Philippines and now celebrating 11 years of fun this is by far one of the biggest Cosplay Mania to date.. personally this is my 2nd time attending, to this fun filled event..

92th gunpla unit

Sorry for not posting here for the past few weeks? months?? because of my hectic working schedule..


As an update on my Gunpla collection, I already have 92 units, 8 more units and I will reach my 100 unit goal for this year, and this one is obviously my 92th.. HOORAY FOR ME!... Finally i had my hands on this very rare and old kit, thanks to my student Kevin Espina (for selling it to me.. LUCKY!) I will post the actual photo of the kit after i fix and modify it.. So my post ends here, thanks for reading!

one reason for my lack of gunpla activity as of late is we had a small renovation on our house, as we added the height of the floor and added 2 more additional floors on it. its about 65-70% done (methinks) we just had to stop it cause the initial budget was not sufficient to sustain the results we want...

Brief history: our area is initially a high place, but due to bad drainage system and some local mishaps, the house was flooded inside 2 times after (one was in 2000 typhoon "Millenio"other was 2 years ago with typhoon "Ondoy") after the last super typhoon my dad opted to do what was said above..

Toy Con 2011

One of the "Big" events that's held here on the Philippines. Toy Con features more toys than Tagcon, more shops and more broke wallets than the previous cons combined (okay I was being exaggerated xD)

New Project Wangun Layout

Hey there sorry for the lack of posts these past weeks, with school work and other things to worry about, and also a certain Final Fantasy 8 that's been keeping me from making any decent posts on this blog of ours..

I should had posted my report about Toy Con 2011, the overdue 00[Q] review, and a Nu Gundoom review also haha blame it on that awesome game xD. ( will be doing it soooooooon though)

Anyways a big shout out and a big thank you for my cousin Kim who made the new layout, you can also check his blog for how he did this plus tips and tricks on Photoshop, CSS3, and just about almost anything :D

My Gunpla Box Tower

Last day (May 30, 2011), I managed to clean my room. Besides collecting Gunplas, I also preserve their boxes because some of the extra parts and armaments are placed in its respective box, and I also treat them as a part of my Gunpla collection. And as a part of my room management, I also clean and organize these boxes. After organizing these boxes, I stacked them up like a tower in front of my room’s door and they look like this.

Mikuru Asahina School Uniform Ver.

Mikuru Asahina. #006 on the figma lineup and my most favorite character on the anime Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I just acquired this figma last month from a good friend Samejima. Yes this is a pre-loved, item got it only for 70% off (i think) of the original price, and I couldn't be happier.. I bought her for the purpose of toy photography, also think of her as a muse for my travels.. kinda like what Danny Choo does when he is out of town or at work.

A Breaking News from Philippines

Recently, our country was hit by a typhoon (as always) and look what if left (Note: I did not make this intentionally just for a shoot, It really happened)Because of this mess, I was shocked upon entering my room.

5th Tagcom Games & Hobbies ErazEr's POV

Last weekend (May 20-22) the authors of Project Wangun, (namely ErazEr, Raider, and Shinsuke) attended the 5th Tagcom Games & Hobbies convention held on Robinson's Ermita. This convention is just like Toy Con (which will happen on June 18-19 2011) which has many booths that sell anime toys, DVD's and other goodies, but what differentiates this to Toy Con, is that there is an auction where the exhibitor may get their items auctioned at a cheaper or a much more expensive price if luck allows it :D

Shinsuke here again, sorry if it took a long time after I posted a new WIP again (due to the fact that I was...err...kind of busy in my work these past few days) to show you the part 3 of my Work in Progress, the MG 1/100 Gundam Astray Red Frame Ver. Kai. For now I will show you the waist part as well as the leg parts for the Red Frame. As usual, SD Red Frame helped me to assemble his "Big Daddy" up. :)

At first, when i hear the words "Touhou Project", curiosity always gets me, spawning questions like: "what is it?" "is it an anime? a game? a movie? a music creator?" and i was wondering why it has so many fans and is very common in otakus and fans alike. at one point, my classmates are also fans of Touhou and was sharing it to their friends. and i was starting to get interested. and then the inevitable happened: a friend of mine shared me a full archive of Touhou Project Games. after trying out one of them, i was hooked. i became addicted and became one of the fans of Touhou Project, then i started, knowing the characters, finding good wallpapers and music, and eventually, getting my hands on one of these:

Ozinefest 2011 was a blast, and couldn't think of a better header than this Servbot's pic, but anyways as said on my previous posting this was the first Ozine I have attended, and boy I did have a good time.

yes the authors of Project Wangun is going to Ozine Fest 2011 at the SM Megamall, unfortunately due to budget constraints we can only go on the last day which is Sunday which will be jam packed with all of the events listed on the poster.. so for those in the Philippines come on and join the fun.

This is probably one of the largest conventions held here on the Philippines, I personally haven't attended the said event in the past, so I still don't know what to expect, but what I'll know is we are all going to have some fun. I'm not gonna cosplay btw just take some pics of the event.

My Entry At GShot Gunpla Photo Contest

My Best Diorama Entry at GShot Gunpla Photo Contest..
This diorama show's the fight between my Harute Gundam and Gundam Exia Repair 1...

This is my Harute Gundam. Its my first kit from the movie "Gundam 00 Awakening of Trailblazer" , the reason why I buy first this kit because Hallelujah Habtism was my favorite character on 00 series. As of now i have all Hallelujah's three Gundams that he use for the entire series except for the trans-am modes.

And this is my Gundame Exia Repair 1,Actually this is an ordinary Gundam Exia kit, I made some modification to make it look like a Gundam Exia Repair that appear on the first episode of Gundam 00 season 2. I broke the G.N sword, remove the left hand and put a peace of cloth and some dirt paint to make it look like a broken mobile suit, beside to its left hand, also remove some parts, the knee and the left part of its skirt..I based this modification on some images of Gundam Exia Repair in net, most probably on the Master Grade of Exia were in you can modify the Ordinary Exia to Repair 1.
